Best thing about being a councillor Enjoy helping the community
Worst thing about being a councillor When people don't get what they want and start calling the Parish Council. Often they don't understand that a lot of matters are the responsibility of Wakefield District Council
Favourite things about Crofton Finding out about the history of the village. Being brought up in Crofton and the friendliness of the Crofton people
Dislikes about Crofton          How big the village has become.                         Some of the buildings put up in recent years.
Hobbies My 3 lovely grandchildren. History, reading, writing, walking around places and visiting castles, manor houses,  halls of historical interest

I feel very privileged to belong to Crofton village and also being given the opportunity to become a parish councillor like my late Grandma Elizabeth Tunnicliffe
