Rev'd. Hazel Walker

I am married and have three daughters.

I was trained as a teacher and taught for several years in Norfolk before moving to Wakefield in 1979 and although I resumed my teaching career for a while, I decided to re-train in psychotherapy.

I now work as a pastoral counsellor in an NHS mental health hospital. Whilst working at the hospital I felt called to ordination and trained with the Northern Ordination Course. I am now serving my curacy, which lasts three years, at All Saints Church, Crofton as a non-stipendiary minister.

I am in the parish each Friday and for some services on Sundays.

I enjoy reading, aerobics, music, gardening, walking and doing jigsaws.
